Eric Burger has wide-ranging interests and expertise in a variety of sectors in the cybersecurity field.
He is the Research Director of the Commonwealth Cyber Initiative. He also has affiliations as Research Professor of ECE in the Bradley Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Research Professor of Public Policy in the School of Public and International Affairs.
Eric has published and presented his research across the nation and around the world. He’s been named a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), and a Fellow of the National Academy of Inventors. He serves on several boards, including the Public Interest Registry
He holds more than 20 U.S. patents and has shared his expertise with members of Congress.
